A month-long film school deepened my understanding of the A–Z of filmmaking — from concept to camera to cut. The experience culminated in Then You Become Them, a short film I wrote, directed, and shot. The film explores how the stories we tell ourselves — about who we are, and who we think others have become — can often be wrong. A good exercise in perspective, and learning the filmmaking process from the ground up.
